No Excuses

When God calls me to go:
1. Human Problem: If I go there, I might have to suffer.
God's Solution: Philippians 1:28-And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

2. Human Problem: But Lord, how do I know this is your will?
God's Solution: Philippians 2:12-13-Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

3. Human Problem: What about the bad living conditions there?
God's Solution: Philippians 3:7-But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

4. Human Problem: I would find it difficult to learn a new language and culture.
God's Solution: Philippians 4:13-I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

5. Human Problem: What if medical attention was needed or other emergencies come up?
God's Solution: Philippians 4:19-But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

6. Human Problem: I don't think I could be happy over there. The isolation would get to me.
God's Solution: Philippians 4:4-Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

He's Still Working On Me

Look at me updating my blog!

We are winding down to the last couple weeks of the semester. My first year of college almost gone. I don't know whether that is super or sad. I guess a bit of both. As far as the form fellowship, no semester will ever top the fall semester. It was good...really good. This semester was also awesome, but just not like the first as far as that goes. This semester has had tons of great times and I have made so many memories. Nothing that I ever wanna forget. It's great. The Lord has been using so many people and many circumstances to teach me. It's great. I am thankful that He is still working on me. Hey! I love that song! I think I will put it on here.

There really ought to be a sign upon my heart,
Saying don't judge me yet, there's an unfinished part.
But I'll be perfect just according to His plan,
Fashioned by the Master's loving hand.
He's still working on me.
To make me what I ought to be.
It took Him just a week to make the moon and stars,
The sun and the earth and jupiter and mars.
How loving and patient He must be.
For He's still working on me.

:-)
