Home Again
It is always a bit difficult getting back into the swing of things. It doesn't help that I have to get used to being home and also to not having Shane around at the same time. I miss him already. Today Velicity asked me if she would still see me after I get married. Please pray for me and my family as we prepare for the change. It is something that is very hard and we have to get through it. I remember in Lamentations when Jeremiah says that God is his portion. God is my portion. That is the promise I will remember every day this summer and in the hard times to come. God is my portion.
Its neat how the Lord works and how He reminds us of different promises for different circumstances. I remember last summer God's promise I claimed was Psalm 27:14, "Wait on the Lord; be of good courage and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait I say, on the Lord." This summer I will remember Lamentations 3:22-23 and how God is my portion. He is faithful.

Adjusting back to life outside of college is definitely taking some time. It is so weird having free time and not having a clue what to do with it. Unfortunately for you, as soon as you get adjusted to life back home, you are going to have new adjustments to make all over again. Just remember, no matter where you go, God is with you! Praying for you!
