Update

I commented on Shane's blog telling him to update, so I figured I should update, too. Too bad I don't really have anything to update about. Hhhmm....let me think...the Lord has really been answering my prayers lately. He is really a faithful God. It seems right when I get upset about one thing, the Lord shows Himself and He answers prayer for something else that I had been praying about. It's like He is reminding me to just keep trusting because He is still working. GOD IS SO GOOD.

Big News

My new nephew, Elijah, was born on September 17. When I asked Velicity if he was as cute as Mitchell, she made a face and said, "Um, he's skinny."Haha. Also Tim and Liz's wedding is tomorrow, which I am super excited for. Shane's coming to the wedding, so I will see him all day :-D

Black Shoes

Here I am posting again. I went out Saturday looking for black shoes for Tim and Liz's wedding. I should have started looking for shoes before a week before the wedding. I didn't find any Saturday and I am hoping Bren will take me out again tonight to look for some.
Yesterday was my first day back to nursing home. I was able to visit Mr Meadows, the Christian man that I made friends with last spring. He said that he had forgotten about me but was excited to see me again. He wasn't able to come to the service because his daughter was visiting but they invited Bren and I in to sing for them. They enjoyed it. I told him I would be there in two weeks to take him to the service. He reminded me never to count on tomorrow. He told me not to say that I will be there because who knows when the Lord will take me. He told me to say 'Lord willing, I will be there.' It was a good reminder for me. Sometimes I forget that I don't have tomorrow...it's in the Lord's hands. I need to be thankful for everyday I have. I Chronicles 23:30 says, "And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at even;" Every morning I need to thank the Lord for it.

Oops

Wow. I didn't realize that it had been that long since I have posted. Sorry about that. (I don't even know if anyone reads this...but if they do....sorry). I want to make a public announcement that I am waiting for my roommate, Leam, to email me back but she is too busy pickin on people for being afraid of storms to email me back. Ok, now that that is out of the way...

Coming into the fourth week here. Carazy. Everything goes by so fast. Mel is going to be having her baby Friday the 12th, Tim is getting married Saturday the 20th, and then Maggie is getting married the following weekend. Busy busy month. Oh and I will be going to the doctor next Thursday to check up on my hole and see how it is doing. I am told, however, that it is no longer a hole so that is good. They say it is just a wound. Ha. Anyways...That's all the updating for me.
